Applications are open for founders entering Europe and emerging markets. Book a call
For founders
ScaleGate can help build the foundation, enter a new market, or take ownership of an agreed workstream.
For founders from emerging markets entering Europe, and European founders entering selected emerging markets.
Every engagement begins with a review of the company, the market, and the work that is blocked.
Across markets
For founders from emerging markets who need a credible route to European customers, commercial partners, company setup, research relationships, or capital pathways.
For European founders who need market research, relevant local partners, customer access, and support with execution on the ground.
ScaleGate assesses each opportunity country by country and confirms delivery capacity before proposing the work.
The work
ScaleGate agrees what needs to move, what it will own, and what remains with the founding team.
01
Identify relevant accounts, open the right conversations, and work the pipeline towards a clear commercial next step.
02
Test the market route, identify relevant partners, and coordinate the practical work behind entry.
03
Prepare the company, financial foundations, investor materials, and data room before relevant grant or investor conversations begin.
04
Bring in the technical, legal, research, manufacturing, company-building, or local delivery capacity required by the agreed goal.
Customers, grants, investment, market entry, company setup, and permits are never guaranteed.
For founders
Start with one defined need. We can stay for the work that follows.
Available through a defined engagement. Scope and commercial terms are agreed with you before we start.
Dutch Startup Visa programme
ScaleGate supports eligible founders applying through the Dutch Startup Visa programme. Facilitation is included with eligible 12-month ScaleGate engagements and forms part of an ongoing company-building relationship, not a visa-only application service.
Eligibility is assessed case by case. RVO and IND rules apply, and IND makes the final decision. A visa or residence permit is never guaranteed. Government, registration, notary, translation, and other external costs are separate where applicable.

How work begins
ScaleGate works through selected, paid engagements. We review the venture and the work before proposing a scope.
01
Share the company, current evidence, target market, and what is blocked.
02
ScaleGate assesses the venture, founder readiness, market case, and where it can contribute directly.
03
If there is a fit, both sides agree the priorities, ownership, deliverables, timing, and commercial terms.
04
Work starts only after both sides agree the engagement.
ScaleGate does not take on every application because its team works directly inside each agreed engagement.
Founders should be ready to share the real position of the company, make decisions between meetings, and work openly with the ScaleGate lead.
ScaleGate is not a fund. An introduction, customer, grant, investment, market entry, or residence permit is never guaranteed.
Selected work
Each case should show where the company started, what ScaleGate owned, what was completed, and what changed.
